The well-proven rotary BioDigester is at the core of the BMR Technology. For >50 years in the US, Canada and Australia, the BioDigester has been extracting >1MT of high-quality BioMass annually from MSW for conversion into premium grade Compost for unrestricted use in Agriculture and Horticulture.
Stage 1
The BioDigester is used to unlock the vast MSW sector as an abundant source of high-quality, Carbon-rich BioMass.
Stage 2
Nitrogen-rich wastewater is added to the BioDigester to produce sterile Class A compost.
Alternatively, BioMass is used as a source for other BioProducts and BioEnergy, whilst valuable recyclables, (Aluminium, etc.) are recovered, leaving oil-based synthetics (plastics, etc.) for production of 'Clean Energy'.
BioMass Recovery plants are designed to process a wide variety of waste streams, with a number of output options. Ideally, the BioMass is used to produce Compost/BioProducts, and the synthetics are converted into Clean Energy.
